Two animations!

Here are two animations I have done.. the first one was done in a class I took..the second one I did on my own time..the second one isn't finished all the way as it does not have any sound....

stuff for upcoming big project

Here are some character sheets and some "screenshots" of a up coming project I will be working on when I go back to SCAD in the fall....just some character sheets for the main charcters including some of the minor ones..and then there are two rendered hots of how the animation will look like.

Lots'o character designs

I got this pad of paper for doing character design/concept stuff..so I just drew out these characters of mine..a long with head shots..close ups of the eyes and other special features. I used copic markers for the colors..and I put the color swatches there just in case I would want to color them again....

Some more random character designs..I have created a lot of characters over the years..some of them were originally created when I was a little kid and I recently re-drew them.

I can't find the scanned pics of the original drawings that I drew these from but they were pretty horrible. The one with the girls and cats was from a comic I did prolly when I was 10-12 years old..can't remember..but I was young..and I used to draw comics all the time and the Tri Cats was one of them.. these girls were really magical cats that had super powers and fought evil....The pic of the girl and the wee-dragon is from another comic I did when I was around the same age, maybe younger...I never finished the comic though.

So yeah I have come a long way with my art and drawing skills...!

Old animation

here is some old animation I did in a couple different animation courses at SCAD. They are not great but are still decent enough.


The assignment for this one was to explore the "screen space" of an environment


The standard flour sack animation every animator has to do in their life. The sack was supposed to react to a box. My little sack finds something horrible inside and freaks out...Some might think it is laughing but it's really supposed to be hyperventilating.


A 2-D cut out piece...This isn't my first time to do this, but it was A LOT of work..so time consuming and yet the final product is so short..but that's the way animation works! I had fun doing it though.

Here is some somewhat older work of characters that I have designed myself..when I'm not a busy college student I do my own work on the side, creating characters from my own Fantasy, giving them their own stories and what not. This is just a small sample of some of my better work. These characters were part of a series I did.

Hello world out there! I will use this blog to post animation, concept art, and anything else related to my animation and other artwork. I am currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design and so some of the stuff I will post here will be related to some of my college work. I am majoring in Animation and minoring in Sequential art. I hope to get a successful career in 2D computer animation or concept art!
